I've heard this album a couple times over the decades since it's release. I purchased the 'S-Breathless' album in 83 and knew they had captured the 'True Hard Rock' sound. I only know of their 2 albums.

Isn't it nice to sit here on the outer edges listening to the very best music from the extremely creative 60s and 70s era. If you like this, then try the fantastic but badly underrated Mannfred Mann Chapter Three. If you like Hammond organs, then you have to lend an ear to The Nice, they were the best live circuit band for a long time. Rondo 69....Great. R.I.P Keith Emerson.

Undoubtedly,this is the best version of PHOENIX. Unfortunately i did not find this until i biught Argus on CD, this was a bonus track. I believe 86/87, when even I was on the road i played Phoenix, it still is a great cruising song (yes ,in the 80s i had to make a tape dub , that the lord for TDK SA 90s, made a great copy). This band was so tight . Alwas a enjoyable time ehen listeing

Not nearly as interesting as sitting opposite Mr. Tippett in a dog carriage any day of the week but.... I've been clearing out my mum's house and found a load of old tapes that had been sitting in a damp garage for at least 40 years. I bought a reel to reel and I'm working my way through them although a lot are beyond playing. This one seems to have been erased but you can just about make out the music and so I put the great Shazam onto it and here I am. It was recorded with a handheld microphone from Radio Luxembourg when music on the radio was worth something. I obviously had great taste even as a lad!

Ir is fun to smoke pot and listen to this. Was back then, is now and always will be.

Sheer brilliance! I've been listening to this track (and the Egg / HatN albums) on and off for 50 years. Still surprises. Such a shame that Mont/Dirk Campbell turned his back on this kind of music, and that Dave Stewart turned to J-R fusion then pop.

C'est un album qu'on écoutait avec les copains quand j'avais 20 ans, dans notre découverte des musiques progressives un peu goths. Je vous conseille "Voices of light" de Einhorn dans ce même registre. Une pure merveille.
